TWLOHA ♥

To Write Love On Her Arms
TWLOHA
STOP THE BLEEDING.
RESCUE IS POSSIBLE.
LOVE IS THE MOVEMENT.

Yesterday, November 13th was TWLOHA Day Worldwide.
People all over the world wrote the words "Love" & "TWLOHA" on their arms to spread the movement. I was one of them. And a couple of my best friends Sophy / Gustavo / Mags / Jose Soteldo / Henry joined me. It meant a lot to me to the point I cried.

However, today I had one of the most interesting and amazing things happen to me. We have a new class in training right now at work and they came on the production floor to shadow us. They sat two people with me, a guy and a girl. Jose Pablo and Marta. They're really nice and well, to be honest, Jose Pablo had an amazing effect on me. He's tall, about 5'7 maybe? Gorgeous green eyes and he's so incredible. Yes, yes I'm smitten I know. But it's not so much about his physical appearance because, although he is extremely handsome, his attitude is awesome. And honestly, he's the only person I've let see my arm with no trouble at all. He actually helped me write "TWLOHA" on my arms and the way he looked at me. Apparently, he's a designer and it's so true. I saw it in the way he drew on my hand and he's definitely the artistic type. He has pretty cool tattoos (big plus for me!). If only he would be the only one listening to my calls... I hope I see him more often.

Here's my story:

"Two weeks had already passed by & Vivian felt the same. Her hair was straight and down. She had no makeup on whatsoever which was unlikely for her persona. Tears fell down her cheeks endlessly. Her eyes were red and swollen and she had dark circles under her eyes. She hadn't slept in a week. Neither had she eaten. If she drank anything was water or hot tea but the sickness that had developed within her caused her to not be hungry and throw up at random times. She wasn't hungry. She wasn't thirsty. She was sad. Upset. Depressed. Anxious. Hurt. Restless. Fidgety. Lost. Confused. Ignored. Alone. And the word "alone" resounded in her mind every second that passed by. She needed an escape but her usual escapes such as dancing, singing and sleeping where not doing anything anymore. She needed an escape. She had spent wo weeks in her bedroom with the curtains close and the lights turned off. Her tv was off. Her computer was off. She needed an escape. She made one last attempt to have music be her escape so as she turned on her iPod, she sat up on her bed and "We Are Broken" blasted through her earphones. The tears fell rapidly from her cheeks onto the gray hoodie she was wearing and the black sweatpants. She couldn't take it. She cried silently which made the situation worst. Ten minutes passed by and it got worst. Everything that was going wrong went through her head. She knew she had her demons to chase but the biggest one of them all was the "not _______ enough" demon which filled in the space with a different adjective every second. It was too much to handle. Her throat and chest hurt and she suddenly was unable to breathe. She grabbed a pair of scissors nearby, rolled up her sleeves, opened them and pressed the cold blade against her the skin on her wrist and slit her skin, not her veins. She wasn't trying to kill herself but she wanted to see the pain physically. Unable to stop herself, she continued to slit her skin sic more times, one for each of her current pains: her relationship, her family life, her social life, her school life, her work life, herself and her pain overall. Seven cuts in less than two minutes. She dropped the scissors from her hands and watched the blood run. Seeing the blood dropped on her sweatpants gave her a physical release of her pain. Silence took over. After five minutes, she dried the tears from her face and wiped the blood away. She turned off her iPod, laid down and covered herself with the blanket. Seconds later she felt asleep. The storm was over. For now. Too bad it was just beginning.

"You've received a new email from Paramore.net" said the little pop up window at the bottom right hand corner of Vivian's computer. She opened it up and saw that her inbox contained 50 new emails. She hadn't checked her email in weeks. The email contained new information about the band, updates and a picture of Hayley Williams, the lead singer, wearing a t-shirt that said: "To Write Love On Her Arms".
"Cute t-shirt," Vivian said to herself in a monotone voice.
She opened Mozilla Firefox and typed "www.google.com" on the address bar. Once she was redirected to the page, she wrote "To Write Love On Her Arms t-shirt, Hayley Williams" and clicked on the "Google Search" button. A picture of Hayley Williams wearing the TWLOHA t-shirt showed as the first result and right under it a site called "To Write Love On Her Arms". Vivian clicked on it hoping that it would be a store in which she could gt the awesome t-shirt Hayley was wearing but little did she know that it would be a website that would change her life."
